“I injured my right knee when I was 14, and had an operation then to remove both the cartilage, and the meniscus from my knee. Since that time it has grinded, been painful, swollen, locked up, and more. I am now 58. Six months ago I tipped over and landed on my knee on a bike ride. I saw an orthopedic surgeon the next day who removed fluid from my knee, took x-rays, and informed me I needed a new knee. He fitted me for a brace, and sent me on my way. I met Dianne at that time.
